JustFans 13 is about running your platform your way: deciding who gets to publish, checking content before it goes live, and giving creators more to offer. It also rounds up versions 11.5 and 12, which shipped in September and October without write-ups of their own.

Choose who can publish

Creator access is now separate from regular accounts, so fans can join without becoming creators. Pick the mode that fits your platform:

  • Everyone can publish, as before.
  • Users apply and get creator access straight away.
  • Users apply and an admin approves each application.
  • Applications are closed and admins grant creator access themselves.

Review content before it goes live

Turn on publication review for posts, reels, stories, or any mix of them. New submissions wait in a Content approvals queue with their full decision history. Review everything by hand, or let your AI scanning setup approve the clear cases and flag the rest.

Share more than photos and videos

Creators can attach PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets, text files, and ZIP archives to posts, messages, bulk messages, and their vault. You choose which formats are allowed, and the feature stays off until you turn it on.

  • Pinned messages in Messenger, plus tips shown right in the conversation.
  • A GIF picker for messages, story replies, and comments, powered by KLIPY or GIPHY.
  • Optional video autoplay in the feed that remembers each viewer's volume.
  • Ad spots inside the feed, and replies on reel comments.
  • Drag to reorder photos and videos in the post composer, including media picked from the vault.
  • Account suspensions with a reason, an optional end date, and a history.
  • A maintenance mode, a custom footer copyright, and external links in the footer.
  • Fonts from Google, Bunny Fonts, or your own server, to help with GDPR.
  • New sign-ups return to the creator profile they came from.
  • An upgrade to Laravel 13.

Before you upgrade

JustFans 13 runs on Laravel 13 and needs PHP 8.3 or newer. Check your server, back up your site, and follow the upgrade steps in the documentation.
